Why I'm waiting:  
The summary kind of reminds me of something along the lines of Ellen Hopkins. A teenager turning to a substance, in this case a boy, for an escape and to get what she needs to be "happy." Then coming to a realization of whats at stake. Can't wait!! My copy is already pre-ordered!
