My Review:
WOW!!  Just wow.  Nancy Straight wasted no time drawing me into a captivating story.  I am at a loss for words for how truly amazing Meeting Destiny is.

Since Lauren was eighteen she has been having vivid dreams about a guy who she refers to as "Destiny."  She accepts him as only a dream until one day when she meets the stranger who has been talking to her at night for the past four years.  The circumstances around the meeting aren't what one would call ideal, but she doesn't care because the man of her dreams is right in front of her.

Lauren is twenty-one going on twenty-two and about to graduate from college. She is selfless, easy-going, and has a killer gut instinct.  Never in her life has she ever been wrong about the feelings she gets from people upon seeing them.  Her best friend, Seth, has been a permanent fixture in her life since birth and her boyfriend since high school.  Their relationship has never been physical because she has never had a burning passion for him.  And what about "Destiny" you ask... well, he is the guy every girl would kill to have.

I loved this book because I was never bored when I read it.  It was entertaining and I became attached to Lauren and "Destiny."  Their relationship was kind of like love-at-first-sight, but I'm not willing to classify it as one because Lauren has talked to him at night for the past four years.  He doesn't know her, but the chemistry between them is evident.

The ending took me by surprise.  Not only was I completely shocked, my heart dropped when I read the last page.  I was so close to tears then I saw there was a second book and immediately relaxed.  This book was a roller coaster of emotion and I enjoyed every minute of it.  I was happy, giddy, angry, miserable, and at times, even speechless, but I wouldn't change a single word.

Overall, this book was fantastic and I can't wait to read Destiny's Revenge and Destiny's Wrath.  I would recommend Meeting Destiny to anyone wanting to a read young adult romance.
