My Review:
I was ecstatic when Shelley offered me a copy of Solid to me for an honest review. I've been dying to read this series since I learned about it a number of months ago and it most certainly didn't disappoint. She crafted an amazing story that kept me turning the pages.

How would you react if you found out you had been genetically altered and were asked to spend a summer at camp with others facing the same dilemma? You would probably want to know how different you are from other humans. Clio got more than she bargained for as she uncovers the mysteries surrounding the C9X program.

I loved all of the characters. You have your jock, the smartie, the queen bee, the one who can do it all, and the average girl. I love that every personality was covered by some character. The plot was well thought out and kept me intrigued. In the end, I didn't expect the big reveal. I was shocked but left with more questions. Solid kept a steady pace and picked up towards the end.

Ovedrall, Solid was wonderfully executed and kept me in the midst of mystery until the very last page. I can't wait to read Settling. If you enjoy sci-fi, you are sure to love Solid.

Thanks for your review. I can tell that you really enjoyed the story. I love books that have a big reveal at the end! I don't like books that are predictable, and it sounds like this book set up the next book with a nice cliffhanger!

I'm not the biggest fan of sci-fi but I like the summer camp type books. That's for the review and giveaway!

I haven't picked up that much sci-fi recently, but this sounds like it would make getting back into the genre worth it!

Thanks for the review and giveaway!
