I had high hopes for Out of Sight, Out of Time when I began reading, and I wasn't let down. Ally Carter provided yet another great Gallagher Girls book that I will never forget.
At the end of Only the Good Spy Young, we learn that Cammie has taken off to save her friends even though she knows they will be furious with her for leaving them behind. Now, months later, Cammie wakes up not remember anything that happened, or what day it is. After her mom has found her in the snow covered mountains, she returns safely back to the Gallagher Academy. But what her mom tells her to do, isn't what she has in mind.
I've read a few reviews that have stated that the reader didn't enjoy this book as much as the first four and I agree with them, to an extent. Out of Sight, Out of Time was lacking in action. Cammie is trying to regain her memory, but all she does is hop from continent to continent until she can piece together what she has done. I'm not saying this is a bad thing. It is one of the best aspects of the book because she finally gets answers to the questions she has had throughout the series, but now new questions emerge. If you ask me what I loved most about this book, it was the ending. Not only was I confused when it came, but I was also shocked when I came out of said confusion. The ending was fan-freaking-tastic.
I highly highly highly (yes 3 of them) recommend this book if you have read the first four! Do not be deceived by people saying it was a let down. You need to judge for yourself.
